Story

For 2018 Maserati have given the GranTurismo a minor face lift, with the MC (Maserati Corse) model representing the company's long and illustrious racing heritage. The MC replaces the MC Stradale, and incorporates newer features found in other Maseratis including five selectable driving modes.

The 4.7L V8 stays the same with 460 hp and 522 Nm of torque. The old 4.2L unit has been retired with both the Sport and MC models using the same engine configuration. The interior adorned with a new 8.4 inch touch screen backed up with a state-of-the art infotainment system, helping to bring Maserati up to standard. The main feature of this system is the inclusion of compatibility with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Smartphone mirroring functions.

Exterior styling option abound, with 16 colours to choose from including a brand new three-layer colour called Blu Assoluto. More options for the wheels with 14 light alloy wheels in six designs available including a forged aluminium set. To complete the exterior options list is the carbon package that is offered for both the MC and Sport models. New generation Pirelli P Zero tyres are fitted as standard offering an increase of 4-5% improvement in wet weather braking with a longer life span of at least 30%.
