Description
The SCG 003S (Stradale) is a street legal version of the 003 Competizione race car which has been competing in Nurburgring 24 Hours. The difference between the two is a full interior with seats that are actually comfortable, no roll cage or racing harness, and road going tires. The other main change comes in the form of the engine, with the Stradale ditching the twin turbo V6 in favour of a 4.4L twin-turbo V8.
750 hp with 800 Nm of torque are the headline figures for the 003 Stradale, with Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus claiming it will be able to Lap Nurburgring in under six and a half minutes on road tires. That would be an impressive time if true, and with the combination of a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, 2,866 lb kerb weight and effective aerodynamics, it’s no wonder the 003S is capable on the track as well as the road.
