Description
The most powerful Skoda Octavia has arrived with 242 hp and 370 Nm of torque, in both hatchback and estate variants. The RS 245 gets a modest 15 hp bump from the Ocatvia RS 230, which held the most powerful Octavia crown until now. Buyers will have the choice between a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 7-speed, dual-clutch transmission. The standing start sprint to 100 kph takes 6.6 seconds for the hatchback and 6.7 seconds for the Combi.
The RS 245 features an electronically regulated VAQ limited-slip differential as standard, with Dynamic Chassis Control, Performance Mode Select and new gloss-black 19 inch alloy wheels.
