2021 Bentley Bentayga

Bentley’s Bentayga luxury SUV is receiving it’s first update since launching in 2016, which includes a design refresh, updated tech and new equipment. For the 2020 model year onwards, the V8 powered Bentayga will be the only option for the standard car, with the W12 engine reserved for the Bentayga Speed. With new Speed set to be released in 2021, the V8 will be the only available engine choice for the updated Bentayga in 2020.

Good thing the 4.0L twin turbo V8 engine is no slouch, as it develops a peak power output of 550 PS (466 kW) with 568 lb-ft (770 Nm) of torque. Certainly plenty of power to haul around all that weight.For those interested, the V8 will propel the Bentayga from 0-62 mph in 4.5 seconds and onwards to a top speed of 180 mph.

The biggest change for this update comes in form of new styling. All the body panels both front and rear have been changed, with strong cues from the new Continental GT and Flying Spur. The front has a larger ‘Matrix’ grille flanked by new headlights featuring Bentley’s ‘cut crystal glassware’ design and extra vents for the bumper. Out back the tailgate now stretches the full width of the car and holds the new oval shaped taillights. The whole car now looks wider and more imposing, which is an improvement on the original.
