The new B6 Bi-Turbo EDITION 50 is powered by a revised version of the 4.4 litre V8 Bi-Turbo engine – known amongst aficionados as the embodiment of power, torque and refinement. It now delivers 441 kW / 600 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 800 Nm at only 3500 rpm, making it the most powerful engine in the company’s history. The B6 Bi-Turbo EDITION 50 accelerates from 0 – 100 km/h in just 4.2 seconds and can reach a maximum speed of 330 km/h (Convertible: 327 km/h), placing it firmly in the company of the world’s fastest production coupés. Combined cycle measured according to ECE Norm: 9.4 l/100 km and 219 g/km CO2 (Convertible: 9.6 l/100 km and 224 g/km CO2).

Special limited edition models from ALPINA always enjoy great popularity. The first to have done so were the B7 S Turbo models from 1981 with altogether 90 examples. In light of this tradition it is a great pleasure to announce the exclusive EDITION 50. Based on the BMW ALPINA B5 Bi-Turbo and B6 Bi-Turbo and strictly limited to fifty examples of each, the EDITION 50 combines heritage with state-of-the-art technology.
