2018 BMW M4 CS

Filling the gap in the BMW family tree between the regular M4 and M4 GTS, is the limited-run special-edition BMW M4 CS. Unlike the M4 GTS which is tuned for the track without compromise, the M4 CS has its focus set to the road & track for a thrilling driving experience without the harsh realities of a track focused setup. The CS stands for Club Sport and harks back to the 2005 E46 BMW M3 CS, another limited run model that borrowed parts from the more hardcore M3 CSL of the time.

Extensive use of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic has been employed for the front splitter, rear spoiler lip, bonnet and rear diffuser. This helps keep weight to a minimum at 1,580 kg, and when combined with the 460 hp twin turbo inline 6 engine, performance is not a problem. The 0-100 kph sprint in done in just 3.9 seconds, with the top speed limiter cutting in at 174 mph. No manual transmission is available to the only choice is a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox sending power to the rear wheels.
