Highest Top Speeds

As of October 10th 2020, SSC have broken the top speed record for a production car with their Tuatara hypercar. The v-max achieved was an incredible 331 mph, smashing the previous record of 304 mph held by the 2019 Bugatti Chiron Super Sport 300. The record run was made on a seven-mile stretch of closed road just outside of Las Vegas Nevada, and included a run in both directions which gave a two-way average of 316.11 mph. Whilst that top speed will be hard to match let alone exceed, the next challengers lined-up come from the likes of the Hennessey Venom F5 and Koenigsegg Jesko.

Speeds listed are quoted from manufacturer spec sheets which may or may not be completely tested and confirmed. Where Top speeds are tested by reputable magazines, TV shows or online publications that prove an increase over the manufacturers claims, the speeds listed may be altered to reflect that outcome.
