Description
Ferraris XX program sets it’s sights on the LaFerrari, producing the quickest Ferrari to date. Developed with no compromises, the FXX K will not be used for any racing series, and therefore is free to be developed without restrictions. The K in the name stands for kinetic energy recovery system (KERS), the technology used to help deliver maximum performance from the hybrid power train.
The internal combustion engine V12 produces 848 hp combined with the 187 hp electric motor to make 1,036 hp all up. 4 driving modes are included to utilize the electric power in different ways. Qualify mode gives maximum performance for a short distance, Long Run is used for long distance driving, Fast Charge to recharge the battery faster and Manual Boost, which uses all the power of the engine and batteries for maximum torque, cornering and speed.
