Looking to continue their progress up the rankings, Renaults R.S.18 Formula 1 car will be paired with a strong driver line-up for the 2018 season. Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz will get the opportunity to propel the factory backed Renault team upwards as they enter the third year since the manufacturer re-entered the sport with their own team. The 2017 season saw the team net a 7th place finish, with high hopes of improving that result and taking their place as the best of the mid-field group.
"We are a team on the rise," declared Renault Sport president Jerome Stoll. "We have two very talented drivers who are hungry for results. Enstone is regenerated and the workforce has already increased by more than 35 per cent. I am convinced year three will take us one step closer to the long-term aim: winning races and challenging for championships."
