Toro Rosso have unveiled their 2019 Formula 1 car, this time borrowing some 2018 spec parts from sister team Red Bull Racing. Due to Red Bull Racing using Honda powerplants for 2019 onwards, the two teams are now in a position to share some components and help the much smaller Toro Rosso concentrate on developing other areas of performance. This gives the team a better chance at competing regularly with the mid field teams.
The driver line-up at Toro Rosso has completely changed for 2019 with Hartley gone from the sport, and Gasly promoted to the big time at Red Bull. Their replacements consist of the returning Daniil Kvyat, who was unceremoniously dumped from Red Bull in 2015 and newcomer Alexander Albon. Both will have plenty to prove in the sport, and with Honda stabilising during 2018, the 2019 season could provide a solid car for the pair to work with.
