2021 Jaguar F-Pace SVR

The 2021 upgrade for the Jaguar F-Pace SVR brings more torque, improved acceleration and a higher top speed. The 5.0L supercharged V8 engine remains with the same 542 hp, but with a small up tick in peak torque to a new high of 700 Nm which is 20 Nm more than previously. The 0-62 mph acceleration time has improved quite a lot, with Jaguar quoted a time of 4.0 seconds flat, which is 0.3 seconds quicker than before. For those playing the 0-60 mph game, the official time is 3.8 seconds. Top speed has also been raised slightly to a new high of 178 mph.

The increase in acceleration performance can be attributed to the usage of the torque converter from the XE Project 8 and a dynamic launch function, which helps keep power flowing to the wheels whilst shifting through the gears. On the styling front, the designers at Jaguar have cleaned up the F-Pace SVR to create a sharper look. The front bumper gets re-shaped trims around the lower air vents and the hood now extends all the way forward up to the grille. The tail lights are now horizontal in design and the head lights have gained two individual strips of LED’s.
