Story

Released as the successor to the Silhouette, the Bertone designed Jalpa filled the role of the more affordable Lamborghini. Compared to the king of the day, the Countach, the Jalpa had much better visibility and useability, making it easier to drive in traffic and around town.

In total 410 cars were produced through the years 1982 to 1988. The name was taken from a famous breed of fighting bulls, something Lamborghini would do later with the Gallardo.
