Description
It has happened, the Mitsubishi Evolution has been transformed into an electric crossover as seen with the new e-Evolution concept car in Tokyo. The name was once reserved for the rally special road going sedan that carved a cult following around the world. Now Mitsubishi has chosen a new direction, one which was foreseen a few years ago, but is sad none the less.
The e-Evolution looks to have three electric motors with one in the front, and the other two in the back all utilising a trick torque vectoring and safety system. These systems can interpret driver intentions and read changes in the road environment to give you suggestions while driving. Whilst that doesn’t sound that good, we will hold judgement until the real thing hits the road.
