Geneva Motor Show 2019
New cars & concepts unveiled at Geneva in 2019
The 2019 edition of the Geneva Motor Show proved to be a real turning point in the automotive industry. Due to the upcoming Euro emission targets, car manufacturers are scrambling to reach their required fleet emissions. This has resulted in the acceleration of hybrid and electric vehicles coming to the market, with Geneva 2019 showcasing many of these upcoming cars.
The other perhaps more interesting aspect to this years show is the shear amount of supercars shown off across the board. Aston Martin went a bit crazy with the AM-RB 003 and Vanquish Concepts, McLaren brought out the Senna GTR and 720S Spider by MSO and Koenigsegg showed off the successor to the Agera called the Jesko. Not to be outdone, Lamborghini has created the open top version of the Aventador SVJ and the Huracan EVO, Ferrari launched the 488 replacement in the form of the F8 Tributo, Audi came out with the R8 V10 Decennium and Mercedes-AMG got out their GT R Roadster.
