German tuner Pogea Racing has produced their best Alfa Romeo 4C package to date, with the more powerful and lighter Pogea Racing Zeus. Always known for it's light weight configuration, the Alfa Romeo 4C utilises a rear-wheel drive setup powered by a turbocharged 1.75L inline 4 cylinder. Pogea have managed to remove 100 kilograms of weight from the stock 4C, delivering a weight of just 904 kg. This has been achieved with liberal use of carbon fiber throughout the car and goes a long way to making the most of the small engines output.
Power from the turbo 4 pot has been raised from 237 hp and 258 lb-ft to and much nicer 246 hp (6,100 rpm) and 338 lb-ft (2,800 rpm). This all comes courtesy of an upgraded turbocharger, fuel pump, injectors and stainless steel exhaust. As a result of losing some weight and gaining some power, the Zeus can reach a top speed of 189 mph (304 kph), and accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds.
