Porsche have unveiled a striking new concept car that promises a new mix of ultra-efficient, low-emission hybrid drive technology. Emission levels of 70 grams CO2 per kilometre and fuel consumption of three litres/100 kilometres sound like the spec sheet for a small city car, yet here we are with Porsche spouting those kind of numbers for their next supercar. A supercar that will accelerate from 0-100 kph in under 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of over 320 kph (198 mph).
Sitting in Porches current line-up the Carrera GT sits at the top, now the company is showing off its future halo car, with the 918 Spyder set to replace the outgoing GT. Porsche are expecting a Nordschleife of Nürburgring lap time of less than 7 minutes 30 seconds, which would be the fastest time Porsche has ever managed around the circuit.
