2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S

Porsche have renewed their Panamera range with the addition of new powertrains and a new top model. Replacing the previous flagship Turbo S E-hybrid is the 2021 Porsche Panamera Turbo S in both hatch and Sport Turismo body styles. The E-Hybrid setup has been relegated to the less powerful 4S Panamera model, as the extra weight of the hybrid electric setup barely improved performance on the top model and somewhat dulled the cars dynamics.

The Turbo S still uses the same 4.0L twin turbo V8 engine as before, but with some more power and torque thrown into the mix. Peak power is now rated at 630 PS (463 kW) which is an increase of 80 PS, whilst torque has risen 37 lb-ft to a new high of 605 lb-ft (820 Nm). Even though the new Turbo S is less powerful than the old Turbo S E-hybrid, performance remains just as strong thanks to significantly less weight. The 0-62 mph sprint in run and done in 3.1 seconds, and the top speed is clocked at a supercar pushing 196 mph.
