The Ringbrothers 1,000 hp G-Code started out life as a classic 1969 Chevrolet Camaro RS, a car that has since come a long way to becoming another shining example of the Ringbrothers craft. Dominating the car is the big supercharged LS3 V8 built by Wegner Motorsports, an engine that was enlarged from 376 cubic inches to 416 cubic inches and blessed with a 2.9L twin-screw Whipple supercharger. The resulting power figures pushed 1,000 horsepower and 890 lb-ft of torque. harnessing all that power is done by the Bowler Tremec 6-speed manual transmission, and 335/30 R-20 Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.
The changes don't stop at the engine, with a Quadra-Link rear end with fully independent suspension setup using AFCO shocks in the back, and a Detroit Speed Hydroform front subframe in the front. The braking system makes use of Baer Brakes with 15-inch rotors up front and 14-inch ones at rear. Every part of the exterior was customised while keeping the overall lines and shape of the original generation Camaro present.
