With around 700 horsepower on tap, the Aston Martin DBX707 is ready to take on the performance SUV crown. Set to tackle the likes of the Lamborghini Urus and Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the DBX707 boasts more power than both of them. That’s 56 hp more than the Urus, and 66 hp more than the Cayenne in total.

The AMG sourced 4.0L V8 engine has been reworked by Aston, which now delivers peak power of 697 hp and 664 lb-ft of torque. The torque converter transmission has been upgraded to a nine-speed ‘Speedshift’ wet-clutch automatic, and a faster electronically-controlled limited-slip differential with a lower ratio final drive has been fitted. All this results in a 1.2 seconds quicker 0-62 mph acceleration time which now stops the clock in 3.3 seconds.
