Description
McMurtry Automotive have developed a production version of their mighty Speirling electric hypercar. This small rear-wheel drive pocket rocket originally turned heads when it shattered the Goodwood Hill Climb record with a 0.85 second faster time than the VW ID.R. Now 100 people will have the opportunity to own their one with the production version called the McMurtry Speirling Pure.
It comes with a carbon fiber monocoque, electric powertrain that develops 1,000 hp, a kerb weight of 1,200 kilograms, and a fan driven downforce-on-demand system that can rival F1 race cars. It will also be capable of a neck-snapping 1.55 second 0 to 60 mph time and a top speed of 185 mph.
