Description
Produced by Fords Special Vehicle Operations, the SVO Mustang distinguished itself from the rest of the range with a few visual additions. All four wheels got disk brakes with custom 16-inch wheels, and an SVO-specific bi-plane rear spoiler finished off the look.
The power plant was a 2.3L turbo inline 4, that cranked out 175 hp (130 kW) for the 1984 model. Halfway through the 1985 model year the engine was tuned to 205 hp (153 kW).
