The Formula 1 powered people mover that displayed the more crazier side of the French automaker, this is the Renault Espace F1 concept. The popular Espace MPV was reaching it's 10th birthday and Renault decided to celebrate the occasion in style, by inserting a full blown F1 engine into the middle of it. Born was the Espace F1 concept car, a project that will surprise no one, never made past the concept stage.
The engine chosen was the very same as used in Alain Prost’s Williams FW15C Formula 1 car that had just won the drivers and constructors championships in 1993. A 3.5L V10 that developed a cool 789 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque whilst screaming to 13,800 rpm (a fair bit less than when in the F1 car). 0-62 mph was all done in 2.8 seconds and it would go on to reach 193 mph with enough road. That's one quick people mover.
