Description
The Future GT40 is a combination of old meets new, inspired by Le Mans race winners from the past and present. Superformance have been building re-creations around the Ford GT40 MKI body and chassis since the early 2000’s, the Future GT40 adds into the mix modern aero parts based on the modern Ford GT race car.
Headlining the addons are twin canards on the front corners, a quick detach rear wing and removable front splitter. All are made from carbon fiber and compliment the paint scheme which replicates the class winning Ford GT from the 2018 Le Mans 24 Hours.
Superformance does not include powertrains with their creations, so buyers have to bring their own, with Superformance recommending a specially prepared Roush engine as the optimal choice. Other options include Ford-based 289, 302, or 351W small block V8’s.
