Felino is a Canadian supercar manufacturer who have launched the CB7R, a road Legal version of the CB7 race car you have never heard of. Felino are offering the choice of 2 different engines for the CB7R a 6.2L V8 and a 7.0L V8. Both are naturally aspirated and combine with the light weight of the car for a good power to weight ratio.
The base model 6.2L produces 525 PS (386 kW) of power and 486 lb-ft (656 Nm) of torque. And the top line 7.0L amps up both the power and torque with 700 PS (515 kW) and 580 lb-ft (786 Nm) respectively. That equals 2 kilograms per horsepower for the 6.2L and 1.6 kg per hp for the 7.0L. The 0-62 mph sprint is achieved in just 2.9 seconds for both models, and the top speed is rated at 202 mph and 215 mph.
The Felino CB7R boasts a 50/50 weight distribution thanks to the front-mid position of the engine behind the front axel. Make no mistake the CB7R is aimed at competing with top end supercars, and this small Canadian company has a huge task in front of them on that front.
