Description
Porsche specialist Paul Stephens have unveiled their latest 911 creation, the Autoart 993R. Developed over a five year period, the 993R is based on a 911 Carrera 2 narrow-body with a M62 3.8L flat-six engine. That engine has been enlarged from 3.6L and gone through some extensive upgrades. These include lightened conrods, 997 GT3 crankshaft and bearings, a bespoke camshaft, individual throttle bodies and RSR barrels and pistons. The end result is peak power of 330 hp with 265 lb-ft of torque.
Whilst this model was made for a single client in mind, Paul Stephens are planning a limited production run with the possibility of a higher powered track focused edition in the future.
