Another exclusive special edition Bugatti has arrived and it’s called the Bugatti Centodieci, a homage to the EB110 super sports car from the 1990s. Bugatti set out to make a modern interpretation of the EB110 which resulted in significant changes to get the desired look. Based on the Chiron platform, the designers of the Centodieci faced the challenge of combining the aerothermal requirements of the Chiron technology with a completely different aesthetic appearance.
Whilst the original EB110 featured a V12 engine, the Centodieci uses the quad turbo 8.0L W16 found in the Chiron. Power has been increased so the engine now delivers 1,577 hp at 7,000 rpm. It is able to sprint form 0-100 kph in 2.4 seconds, 0-200 kph in 6.1 seconds and 0 to 300 kph in just 13.1 seconds. The top speed has been electronically limited to 380 kph (236 mph). The Centodieci is lighter than the Chiron, carrying around 20 kilograms less of unladen weight, meaning a sensational power-to-weight ratio of just 1.13 kilograms per horsepower.
