Description
A new era begins for Aston Martin with the reveal of the DB12, a very important car for the brands future. This is the first new entry under the Lawrence Stroll lead Aston and will be one of eight new sports cars set to be launched by 2026.
The first thing you might notice is absence of the V12 engine from the DB11, replaced with a V8 unit from AMG which remains at least for now, the only option. This 4.0L twin turbocharged V8 is more powerful than the 5.2L V12, producing 671 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque and is connected to a eight-speed automatic transmission. 0-60 mph should be all done in 3.5 seconds with the DB12 capable of going cracking the 200 mph barrier.
