Description
The second generation Audi RS3 LMS is an entry-level, inexpensive customer race car that is ready for TCR racing. At the heart of the RS3 LMS is the EA888 model 2.0L inline 4 turbocharged engine that should provide plenty of oomph quoted at up to 335 hp. The new new pneumatically actuated six-speed transmission now has a twin-plate racing clutch that weighs 800 grams less to reduce rotational mass and inertia, and can be operated via steering wheel mounted paddle shifters.
A new multi-disc locking differential has been fitted which is easily adjustable from the outside of the car, and the drive shafts have been strengthened to last longer, improving reliability and reducing long term costs. The chassis and suspension setup has been designed to break new ground in adjustment, making it much quicker and easier for teams to setup the car to each track.
