2021 Cupra Formentor

Seat have spun off Cupra into it’s own brand, and the Formentor (Yes that names correct) is their first all-new car released. Taking the shape of an SUV crossover, the Formentor employs a rather sporty look with plenty of angles and creases forming an interesting look. The name, as weird as it is, actually comes from cape Formentor on the Spanish island of Mallorca, with the car being designed, developed and built in Martorell, Barcelona.

At the top of tree of engine choices for the Cupra Formentor is a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4 engine which produces 306 hp and 400 Nm of torque. This engine only comes available with a seven-speed DSG transmission with the manual gearbox reserved for the lower power models. Acceleration is fairly good for this type of car, with the 0-62 mph all done in 4.9 seconds.
