Cupra’s Born hot hatch has just gotten hotter with a big jump in power and handling ability. The VZ nameplate stands for Veloz, meaning fast in Spanish, so Cupra needed to live up to that with a decent increase in the performance offered by the Born VZ. On that front, peak power has been increased by 94 hp to a new total of 322 hp, and torque has risen to 402 lb-ft. That healthy power bump has reduced the 0 to 62 mph sprint by 0.9 seconds to a new time of 5.7 seconds, and the top speed now tops out at 124 mph.
