2019 Ferrari 488 Pista

In the Ferrari tradition of the 360 Challenge Stradale, 430 Scuderia and 458 Speciale comes the new hot version of the 488, Welcome to the Ferrari 488 Pista. Much of the development of the 488 Pista originated from the race tracks around the world, through Ferrari’s successful GTE class racing teams.

Let’s start with the weight savings, where Ferrari have managed to shave 90 kilograms off the dry weight of the 488 GTB, bringing the total down to 1,280 kg (2,820 lbs). The turbocharged V8 engine that won the overall International Engine of the Year award titles in both 2016 and 2017 has been boosted in performance. With a power output 51 horsepower higher, taking the peak to 711 horsepower at 8,000 rpm. That equates to a class leading 182 hp per litre of displacement. The top speed has risen to more than 340 kph, with 0-100 kph done in 2.85 seconds and 0-200 kph in 7.6 seconds.
