Description
Ready for the 2022 WRC season, the Ford Puma Hybrid Rally1 is the brands first ever electrified race car. Utilising a hybrid setup consisting of a 1.6L inline 4 cylinder engine producing 380 hp and 420 Nm on it’s own, and a battery powered electric motor capable of outputting 100 kW. The electric motor only provides a boost in power for a maximum of 3 seconds at a time, then requiring to recharge through regen at a rate of up to 30 kW.
The M-Sport Ford World Rally Team (WRT) will have three drivers in their line-up for 2022, raig Breen, Adrien Fourmaux and Gus Greensmith, who will be joined by nine-time FIA World Rally Champion, Sébastien Loeb for the Monte Carlo Rally.
