After releasing initial design sketches a year ago, the Nissan Juke Hybrid Rally Tribute has actually become a reality with a one-off concept car hitting the dunes. With the Juke set to introduce a hybrid version into the line-up soon, Nissan wanted to add some flair and character into the mix with the Rally Tribute.
When the design was first developed it had been 50 years since a Nissan 240Z won the gruelling East African Safari Rally with Edgar Herrmann at the wheel and Hans Schüller navigating. This creation sits as a tribute to that victory and showcase for the all-new Nissan hybrid powertrain.
