2020 Novitec McLaren Senna

Novitec have taken McLaren’s Senna supercar, one of the fastest road cars on sale in 2020, and lumped in an extra 100 horsepower for good measure. With peak power now sitting at 902 PS (664 kW), Novitec’s version of the Senna has managed to avoid any body-kit or extra addition to the bodywork, with forged center-lock wheels the only visual difference on the outside. The performance credentials don’t stop with the power figure, as torque has also been increased from 590 lb-ft to 655 lb-ft, all being sent to the rear wheels.

Whilst McLaren’s 4.0L twin turbo V8 engine is a very strong unit that is capable of immense power, the British automaker seems to have left some power on the sidelines with Novitec able to convince a good amount of extra power of out it. This has been achieved in typical Novitec fashion with the use of a ‘piggyback’ ECU module, that contains new mappings for the ignition, injectors and boost control. This is complemented with the addition of a performance exhaust system.
