2022 Rivian R1T

After years of teasing, Californian start-up Rivian has finally released the production version their electric R1T pickup. First shown off at the 2018 LA Auto Show, the R1T stood out from the crowd with futuristic styling and plenty of clever storage solutions. Now in 2022, all of that remains as Rivian begins the har fought journey of becoming a successful automaker.

Four electric motors fed by a big 180 kWh battery combine to generate up to 824 hp and 908 lb-ft of torque. That allows the R1T to propel it’s significant weight from 0-60 mph in just 3 seconds, making this a fairly rapid ride.
