Description
After winning their 16th Formula 1 Constructor’s World Championship in 2008, Ferrari came up with this to celebrate. The Scuderia Spider 16M is the convertible version of the 430 Scuderia from 2008. The production run was limited to 399 vehicles, all of which were pre-sold to clients.
The 16M received unique 5-spoke forged wheels, which reduced unsprung weight and allowed for larger brake discs and calipers to be used. The chassis got some extra stiffening to cope with no roof, and the bumpers were a special lightened version compared to the 430 Scuderia.
Top speed was quoted at 315 kph (196 mph), making this the fastest ever Ferrari convertible.
