Land Rover Classic have revealed their continuation build called the Defender Works V8 Trophy, a classic Defender created to celebrate the various expeditions of the Defender around the globe. This isn’t like your ordinary Defender thanks to the naturally aspirated 5.0L V8 engine developing 399 hp and 380 lb-ft of torque. With four-wheel drive and an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission, the Defender Works V8 Trophy can haul all that weight and accelerate from 0-62 mph in only 5.6 seconds. Not bad.
The extra kit doesn’t stop with a more powerful engine, as four-piston brake calipers have been fitted front and rear for more stopping power, the suspension has been upgraded and the front and rear differentials have been reinforced. The underbody protection has been improved, a tow-rated winch sits on the front bumper and four LED spotlights are fitted to the leading edge of the roof. This Defender is perhaps one of the most kitted out models to ever come from the factory
It will be available to buy in both 90 and 110 forms but is limited to only 25 examples in total, with all finished in a bespoke Eastnor Yellow colour.
