2023 Lucid Air Sapphire

The first car to come from Lucid’s new performance sub-brand Sapphire will be the world’s most powerful sedan. The Lucid Air was already a very powerful car with 1,065 hp to play with, however Lucid clearly weren’t content, creating the Air Sapphire that will have well over 1,200 hp at launch. This could be a result keeping one-step ahead of rival Tesla in the power game after the release of the 1,006 hp Model S Plaid. Key to the extra power for the Sapphire is the addition of an extra electric motor, creating a tri-motor setup. Final power figures are yet to be locked in, so expect it to be well over the 1,200 hp mark.
