Description
BMW have given their M Hybrid V8 endurance racer the art car treatment thanks to New York-based contemporary artist Julie Mehretu. As the newest member of the BMW Art Car collection, this one will compete in the upcoming 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. The painting uses space, movement and energy as central motifs and was achieved through the use of digital photography superimposed over several layers of dot grids, neon-coloured veils and the black markings.
