2024 Volkswagen Golf GTI 380

As a farewell to the manual transmission the Golf GTI 380 celebrates the heritage of the three-pedal GTI. After the 2024 production year, Volkswagen will no longer offer a manual gearbox for either the Golf GTI or R, leaving the 7-speed dual-clutch DSG transmission as the only choice. Volkswagen America are sending off the manual with the 380, a combination of features that will be sold with every manual GTI remaining.

The feature list includes gloss black paint on the roof panel and on the door mirror caps, a DCC adaptive damping system, 19-inch alloy wheels and even a golfball-shaped shift knob. Unfortunately the 380 in the name does not mean more power with VW sticking to the same 241 hp engine output the GTI has had since the debut of the 8th generation Golf.
