Williams F1 have revealed a new all blue livery which is set to adorn their 2022 FW44 challenger. The livery design consists predominately of dark blue with light blue and red highlights and the diamond shapes introduced in the 2021 design. The initial renders seem to be based on the FIA show car, which like other teams doesn’t show any real details about the new car.
2022 will be the second full season for new owners Dorilton Capitol, who have injected much needed funds into the team and taken them into a much more comfortable financial position. With an uptick in performance last year, Williams remain realistic about their prospects for this year, expecting their long-term 5-10 year plan needed to get back to the top off the sport.
Alex Albon will join the team in 2022 after a year out of F1 and a failed attempt at securing the second Red Bull seat. He joins Nicholas Latifi who has made Williams his home now for a third season.
